Maulana Kalim Siddiqui case study: This is new India of unjust Hindutva territory. don’t talk about Islam, otherwise you will be thrown in jail. Here, thousands of dozen Hindu Baba have full freedom to convert anyone in the name of “Home Return”. But if someone else preaches religiously other than Hindutva, then the so called “Conversion Law” of Hindutva Government of India will send him to jail. However, this law has been specially made to target Muslims.
Latest case is of Maulana Kalim Siddiqui, an Islamic scholar living in Phulat village in Muzaffarnagar district of Uttar Pradesh. UP Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) has arrested Maulana Kalim for running an nationwide conversion syndicate. He is also accused of receiving funding of crores of rupees from abroad for this work. He was arrested on September 22 and is on a 10-day custody remand.
ADG Law and Order Prashant Kumar told in Lucknow on Thursday that cases of illegal conversions have been detected against Maulana Kaleem Siddiqui. According to the ADG, in the investigation so far, Maulana’s trust Jamia Imam Waliullah Trust has found evidence of funding of a total of Rs 3 crore, including Rs 1.5 crore from Bahrain. Six teams of ATS are probing the matter.
ATS officials said that Maulana was being monitored for a long time in view of his suspicious activities. Maulana Kalim was preaching among the people that only the system made according to Shariat can give justice to all. He was influencing the people and getting them to convert on a large scale to implement the Sharia system and change the population ratio.
Let us tell you that this is the same Prashant Kumar who showered flowers on Hindu pilgrims from chopper during the Hindu religious “Kawad Yatra” in August 2018. At the same time, miscreant Kawadiyas badly broke a woman’s car publicly on road after a small dispute.

Not only this, in another incident agitated miscreant Kawadiyas also ransacked the police car and attacked. Despite this, then ADG Meerut Range Prashant Kumar did not take any action against the crooked Kawadiyas and also did not allow anyone to do anything with the aim of not angering the Hindutva government. After the Hindutva government came to power by winning the assembly elections in the year 2017, Prashant Kumar started making a quick encounter. The Godi media, funded by the Hindutva government, began to popularize him as Singham Policeman. While many social organizations and human rights organizations termed their encounter as political murders. Only after this, while giving promotion to Prashant Kumar, the Hindutva government of Uttar Pradesh made the ADG law and order of the state from ADG Meerut range.
In another Hathras rape case that shook the entire nation in October 2020, ADG Law and Order Prashant Kumar’s reputation was blown away again when he made a controversial statement to save the image of Hindutva government.
Then Indian Express printed that, “Slamming Uttar Pradesh ADG for his statement, Congress leader Supriya Shrinate quoted a Supreme Court verdict, saying “no semen or penis penetration is needed to establish rape, an attempt to penetrate is also rape”.

This is the same double character ADG who showers flowers with a chopper on the crooked Kawadiyas who promoting Hindutva openly and on the other hand gets Maulana Kaleem Siddiqui arrested after on talking about Sariyat.
This is the same ADG who had adopted all the tactics to save the Hindutva government after the Hathras rape case, in the same way, during the UP assembly elections, the foreign fund of 3 crores received by Maulana Kalim for the alleged conversion has also been traced. Even though ATS and ADG could not give any concrete evidence or witness in Maulana Kaleem’s case, but in their eyes, Maulana is a person running a syndicate of possible conversion and like every time, Godi Media, which is funded by the Hindutva government, has completely stamped it this time too.
Maulana Kaleem Siddiqui and Adani Port Drugs Case
It is worth noting here that on September 15, about 3,000 kg of heroin is caught from the Adani Port at the Gujarat Mundra port operating by Gautam Adani, an Gujarati friend of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the country’s eminent industrialist. Following this action by the enforcement agency “Directorate of Revenue Intelligence” (DRI) under the Union Finance Ministry, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) also allegedly started a money laundering probe. This issue was spreading like fire all over the country which needed to be calmed down or diverted to another issue soon. When Gautam Adani started getting entangled badly in this case, the arrest of Maulana Kaleem on 22nd September at the exact same time turned the whole game upside down. Now the news of Adani port has been disappeared from the dock media screen. It was as if a scapegoat had been found to save itself.
Maulana Kaleem met Mohan Bhagwat before his arrest
Recently, Maulana Kalim had met Hindutva group “Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh” (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat. Maulana Kalim was invited for the “Nation’s First Nation Paramount” program held on 7 September in Mumbai. He had also reached here and had a personal meeting with RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat. Two weeks after this meeting, Maulana was arrested in the conversion case.

Maulana Kalim is the President of Global Peace Centre. Apart from this, he is also the president of Jamiat-e-Waliullah. Maulana is in charge of many madrasas and is well recognized for working in the field of education. He is counted among the great Maulanas of the country due to religious scholar.
Political meaning of arrest of Maulana Kaleem Siddiqui
Human Rights group “Rihai Manch” president advocate Muhammad Shuaib said that this time the BJP government of Uttar Pradesh has hatched a new conspiracy to divert public attention from its failures and give air to its communal politics, under which Muslim scholars like eminent Maulana Kaleem Siddiqui are being converted in the name of conversion. But the target is gone.
Seeing the growing harmony between Hindu-Muslim, the present government was shocked and started looking for such an issue which could easily lead to polarization. The hatred gap between Hindu-Muslim can be blown again and public attention can be diverted from the failures of the government.
AIMIM political party in favor of Maulana Kaleem Siddiqui
All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) Maharajganj unit submitted a memorandum to the District Magistrate by reaching the district headquarters in the form of a procession demanding the release of Maulana Kalim Siddiqui and firing at the innocent protesters of Assam and shaming humanity. Meanwhile, the workers raised slogans.
Talking to the media, AIMIM District President Sarwar Khan said that the state government has hatched a conspiracy to arrest Maulana Kaleem Siddiqui to fuel communal politics to divert attention from its failures.
Under which the eminent Maulana Kaleem Siddiqui Sahab has been arrested on false charges of conversion to divert public attention from his failures by creating a hatred gap between Hindus and Muslims.
Sarwar Khan said that the ATS did not have a single solid evidence due to which the special court rejected the appeal to send him to police custody.
The state government has taken action to spoil the atmosphere. We demand from the government that Maulana Kalim Siddiqui Sahab and his associates should be released at the earliest and the false charges leveled against them should be returned.
